Logline: A fiercely ambitious Chinese woman for immigrant outcall workers in New York City dreams of building a high-end erotic service in Flushing, Queens, but her rise puts her in direct conflict with a ruthless madam who controls the red-light district. As their battle escalates amid an impending law enforcement crackdown, she risks everything for a chance at power and the American Dream.

The feature-length script is a quarter-finalist in the 2024 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, a semi-finalist in the Athena Film Festival Writers Lab, advanced for the second round of consideration for the 2025 Sundance Development Track, and is now a finalist for the Writer/Director Track for Sundance Collab’s Cultural Impact Residency Honoring the Legacy of Social Justice Leader Michael Latt.
A proof-of-concept short film, based on the long-form project, is in post-production and will start its festival in spring 2025.
